    Daytona Beach is the East Coast place to soak up sun, surf the waves, and shift into low gear. The famous beach spans nearly 23 miles and up to 500 feet inwidth. The beach at Daytona first gained auto racing recognition in the early years of this century. Driving is permitted in certain areas on the beach's coastline. Daytona Beach events include: Bike Week, Spring Break, Biketoberfest, Magnolia Festival, and Tails & Tots Festival.
